Happy Talk
The story of Nidal Malik Hasan, the radical Islamist behind the Fort Hood massacre, is the story of diversity in America. It's the story of "happy talk" and its terrible consequences. From the moment of his birth to the day he followed through with his plot, his path was cleared by abstractions, delusions, and politically correct taboos. Even now, with over a dozen American soldiers slaughtered and evidence of Hasan's radical Islamic associations mounting, we aren't going to have a moment of clarity.
In fact, the more obvious the truth becomes, the more hysterical the liars get. General George Casey, the Army's top officer actually said, "Our diversity, not only in our Army, but in our country, is a strength. And as horrific as this tragedy was, if our diversity becomes a casualty, I think that’s worse." Several of his soldiers have died at the hands of a foreign agent hidden in plain sight and his gravest concern isn't for his fallen comrades or his country - it's for that "diversity".
Yes, a foreign agent. Nidal Malik Hasan, contrary to the party line, was never an American, had no business in America, had no business in our military, and certainly had no business being promoted to the rank of Major. Let's peel back the layers of this onion of delusions and start asking some tough questions. Let's cut the happy talk and apply some cool blue reason to this foreigner's life.
First off, what is he doing here?
His parents were Palestinian Muslims who migrated here. How did they get here? Who brought them here? Why are we inviting people from countries we're at war with to live among us? Yes, our government has been funding and supporting Israel's military conquest of Palestine, a conquest which has been going on for decades. The happy talk is that America is a partner in the peace process. The reality is that Palestinians have a bone to pick with America, a bone that Hasan just picked.
And how did he become a citizen? He was born here. But he's not American. He's ethnically Middle Eastern. He's a Muslim. He openly and proudly defied everything that America is. He supported Sharia government. He often wore his ridiculous "Punjabi suit". But nobody spoke up. Who in the military would dare speak up when the highest-ranking general would rather have you die than have his radical social experiment fail?
The truth, without the happy talk, is that our government has invited an enemy combatant into the highest ranks of its military. The truth, without the happy talk, is that sworn enemies of America are moving here every day from the countries that we're either openly or secretly at war with. The emperor is buck naked, everybody knows it, and only a few heroes and fools are stating the obvious.
We live in the age of happy talk. No joke. Our nation is bankrupt, our currency is worthless, and our productive capacity is long gone. All we have is happy talk about how the economy is working very well for the wealthy. We have happy talk about how we've entered a brave new "service economy" powered by "symbolic manipulation" while the corporation takes your job, the bank takes your home, and the IRS takes everything else. Our government has been hijacked in broad daylight by Goldman Sachs while their puppet, Obama, mesmerizes America with his enchanting happy talk.
And what enchanting happy talk it is! This America, this deluded, confused, and declining country, deserves Barack Obama. The man is absolutely nothing but happy talk. He has never led or administered anything. He has never really done anything his whole life except make happy talk in that authoritative baritone right out of central casting. And that's just fine, since there's nothing left for the American president to do except offer rationalizations for the regime's usurpations and feign the illusion of continuity with traditional American politics.
We Americans have lost our jobs, our life savings, our sovereignty, our families, and our religion. All we have left is happy talk. Obama, like a condescending hospice nurse, is assuring America that it's going to all be okay, that it's going to get all better, that the treatment is working. And Obama's correct. The treatment is working. It's just not working for YOU. This government is running like a well-oiled machine. It's just not running for YOU. The economy is paying out record dividends. It's just not paying you.
Wake up, America, then stand up. Stand with us here at Hoosier Nation and join the Council of Conservative Citizens today.

Jon Harness @ Rally Against Illegal Immigration
Jon Harness, pastor of the Abundant Life Fellowship, begins the rally with a prayer then gives a powerful speech on the effects of the problem.
Political Cesspool Interview
For a musician, you know you've arrived when you're on the cover of the Rolling Stone. For a traditional conservative activist, that moment comes when you're interviewed on The Political Cesspool. While I encourage you to listen to all three hours of this Saturday's program, the third hour features our chapter in the last fifteen minutes.
If you attended the rally, please don't forget to follow up with signing the petition, joining the Council of Conservative Citizens, and becoming active. Email us and start a dialogue about the issues you're dealing with on a local level. Tell us what your talents are, because we might need your help. As promised, the rally is just the beginning. Stay tuned to learn how we're integrating it all into upcoming projects.

Rally Success
I would like to personally thank Jon Harness, my family, and the dozens of people who made our rally against illegal immigration a huge success. Over the next couple days, we'll be posting video footage of the event and following up with individuals on how to take the next steps necessary to influence legislation, reach people with our great message, and become the leading advocates for working class Hoosier families.
Gratefully,
Matt Parrott
P.S.
Don't forget to catch me on the Political Cesspool tonight!

The Rally is Tomorrow!
Our Rally Against Illegal Immigration in Indy tomorrow (Saturday) is going to be attended by dozens of motivated activists from throughout the state (and beyond). Make some signs and bring your entire family. The event will include a couple speakers, some protesting along Meridian Street, and a team dedicated to educating and empowering voters. We'll be registering people to vote, gathering petition signatures, and offering some great materials.
Jonathan Harness, pastor of the Abundant Life Fellowship Church, has agreed to speak at the event.
I, Matt Parrott, will also be speaking briefly. Other speakers to be announced.
Tune into the Political Cesspool on Saturday night to listen to James Edwards interview me about all the activities our chapter has been engaged in.
Don't hesitate to call or email me if you have any questions or concerns about the rally.

The Elms - Back to Indiana
The Elms are a great heartland rock band from Seymour, Indiana. Who says lightning never strikes the same place twice? My wife and I had the pleasure of enjoying them performing live earlier this fall and can confirm that the entire album, "The Great American Mid-Range" is solid, strong, and catchy.

Illegal Immigration Rally Update
The rally we have planned for this Saturday in downtown Indy is getting more and more commitments every day and we have all of the steps in place to assure that it's more than merely an opportunity to vent frustration: it will be a first step in an effective campaign to pass specific illegal immigration legislation in Indiana. We still need your help in spreading the word about the event and inviting as many friends and family as possible to join you.
We do have some bothersome news, which is that ALIPAC abruptly dropped support of our event and is promoting a second event in downtown Indy. While we at Hoosier Nation have been committed to hosting an event which is exclusively focused on the issue of illegal immigration, the leadership of ALIPAC strongly disagree with our Statement of Principles and are unwilling to accept our support. In a nutshell, ALIPAC stands for Americans for Legal Immigration Political Action Committee...and they mean it. They are for more immigration while we at the Council of Conservative Citizens are concerned about both problems.
Our rally will be family-friendly, inclusive, and focused on illegal immigration. So will theirs. We're partial to our rally for a variety of reasons, but we present the information for both of them below so you're as informed as possible when you decide which to attend. Of course, you don't necessarily have to decide. You may try one then decide to attend the other. Either way, we'll continue to remain respectful toward the alternative event on the same day and focus our efforts on raising public awareness of this serious problem and passing important illegal immigration legislation.

Immigration Gumballs
The Tea Party Against Amnesty is less than two weeks away and we at the Hoosier Nation are helping spread the word and remind Americans just how serious our illegal immigration problem has become. Many of you have already watched Roy Beck of NumbersUSA's great "Immigration Gumballs" video. But maybe you can think of a friend or relative who hasn't seen it. The activists among us need to take note of the power of visualizations in conveying otherwise boring or seemingly complex topics.
